The Smartisant 8-Channel Input Board IP1 is one of our smart home building blocks and makes it simple to power and connect a wide range of 12V dc sensors to a smart home. The board uses opto-couplers to separate the 12V sensors from the 5V logic functions.
The PCB exposes 8 channels via a 4-way Molex connector and connects to our other boards via a 10-way shrouded header connector. A 12V power source is connected to the board to deliver 12V power to each channel.
