Our contextual smart home is a hybrid technology solution, using both wired and wireless home automation and networking technologies. Being technology agnostic means that we are not tied to any particular technology, vendor or protocol. This means we are free to use the most appropriate technology for each particular feature in terms of performance, cost, reliability, etc. This also means we can use open-source hardware and software, along with 'best of breed' products from 3rd party suppliers.
