The Smartisant 8-Channel IO Board IO8CH1 is one of our smart home building blocks and makes it really simple to connect a wide range of 5V dc sensors and devices to a smart home using a 10-way shrouded header connector. Each sensor and device is connected using a 4-way Molex connector.
The board does not have to be fully populated and can be built up to suit each specific application or installation, making it more cost effective.
The board supports 8 channels but has the option to use channel 8 for an on-board 5V buzzer (instead of connecting a sensor or device). This is to allow audible notifications or warnings.
