The Smartisant Output Board OP1 is single channel, high power output board to allow control of low-voltage devices such as lighting, pumps, etc. This will work with 12V dc loads or 24V dc loads. It features an opto-coupler for electrical isolation and can be used with PWM.
This board makes it really easy to control things like 12V dc bulbs and pumps using an Arduino. The board features 2 screw terminals for 12V power in and 2 screw terminals to connect the load.
The board is directly connected to an Arduino output pin (5V or 3.3V) to control the output. An on-board resistor limits the current draw on the output pin to less than 10mA.
