A fluid level sensor is typically used to detect how full a tank is with a liquid. There are various ways to achieve this and one way is to use an ultrasonic distance sensor.
If you only need to know if a tank is empty or full, then you can also use a float sensor.

They can all generate or voice announcements if required or trigger an alarm. We typically model fluid level sensors as a percentage between 0% and 100%.
